Overview

Every evening, Magic Kingdom wraps up its day with a fireworks show. One of the best ways, in my opinion, to enjoy these fireworks is through a dessert party.

This party gives you the opportunity to enjoy:

  1. A blocked off area to watch the fireworks that’s less crowded. It’s prime viewing area to the side of the castle so gives you a pretty straight on view. One note - it is standing room only
  2. A dessert buffet with unlimited snacks and drinks (including alcohol) either before or after the fireworks depending on what you pick

There are three different offerings:

  1. Pre party ($99) - you enjoy the dessert buffet before the fireworks begin
  2. Post party ($99) - you enjoy the dessert buffet after the fireworks are over
  3. Seats and Sweets ($124)- same as the pre party, except you get a table/chairs to sit at

If you or anyone in your party has dietary restrictions, they are able to accommodate, and will bring that person allergy friendly desserts. You can mark this when you book, and cast members will double-check with you when you check in.

4 buffet tables standing next to each other, each with emblems from the different Magic Kingdom lands. Each table has an assortment of desserts. Behind the tables is a wallpaper of fireworks.

Is it Worth it?

This is one Disney World splurge that I will gladly do time and time again. The crowds around the fireworks are quite intense, so for me even just having the separate area to watch them is worth it. The food/drinks aren’t anything special, but are very enjoyable. I prefer to do the post party so while everyone else is fighting their way out of the park, I can sit and enjoy some nice treats and a glass of champagne. This is one splurge I highly recommend to provide yourself a more relaxing and enjoyable experience.
