Navigating Dietary Restrictions and Allergies

- Disney has allergy friendly menus built out for the 9 most common allergies. This is at the table service and quick service restaurants
- The carts/kiosks and the Non Disney owned/operated restaurants do not have allergy friendly menus
How Does It Work
Restaurants owned and operated by Disney have built out allergy friendly menus for the 9 most common allergies; eggs, fish, milk, peanuts, sesame, shellfish, soy, tree nuts, and wheat.
When you make a dining reservation for a table service restaurant, you can mark that someone in your party has an allergy and which one. This gets printed on your seating card when you check into the restaurant, so the server will confirm and ensure they have the correct menu.
At quick service restaurants, if you order through the mobile app you can select from their allergy friendly menu. If you order at the stand, then you’ll need to notify the cast member and they can provide a copy of the allergy friendly menu.
The carts and kiosks around the parks do not have allergy friendly menus.
If you have a restrictive diet or allergies past the above mentioned, Disney has a Special Diets team who can help support you with this. You can reach them at Special.Diets@DisneyWorld.com. Their page on the Disney World website says to contact them at least 14 days prior to your trip.

Non Disney Owned Restaurants
Some restaurants are owned/operated by third parties, and as such do not have allergy friendly menus built out. I’ve seen this at Disney Springs and some of the hotels (like the Swan and Dolphin). Those will be like restaurants at home where you need to work with the server to understand what you can eat.
